After several days of his last request, the phone companay was again contacted and told that there was no longer a rush. This is what my friend actually told the company.
"The phone is now working fine. so no need to fix it. Except that all money is being returned upon completion of each call.
A repairman arrived within the hour!

- repeated requests for repair : 되풀이 되는 고장수리 신고
- brought only promises : 고친다는 약속만 돌아왔다. 행위는 발생하지 않았다는 뜻
- There is no longer a rush : 이제는 서두를 필요가 없다
- no need to fix it : 고칠 필요가 없다
- Except that : ~라는 사실만 빼면
- Upon completion of each call : 통화를 마칠 때마다
